As these compounds provide the opportunity to control multiple diseases, scientists from North Carolina State University compared the sensitivity of the different pathogens to various SDHIs. Significant positive correlations between the sensitivity of Fusarium wilt and gummy stem blight for several SDHIs indicate a potential for cross-resistance against the fungicides.
